Dynamic Talent Acquisition Pune is seeking a Civil Estimation Engineer to lead quantity take-off, costing, budgeting, and rate analysis for high-rise residential projects in Pune.

The role involves tendering, value engineering, market research, and variation management across multiple sites; candidates should have 3–9 years of experience, BE/BTech in Civil, and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel. NICMAR certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Civil Engineering is required.
• Post-graduation in Construction Management or NICMAR certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of IS Codes and standard measurement practices.

Responsibilities

• Quantity Take-off & Costing: prepare BOQ from drawings for high-rise buildings.
• Budgeting: develop project budgets and cost plans considering local material costs.
• Rate Analysis: conduct rate analysis for civil, finishing and MEP works in Pune market.
• Tendering & Bidding: review tender docs, prepare bid comparisons, assist in subcontractor finalization.
• Value Engineering: identify cost-saving materials or methods without compromising quality.
• Market Research: maintain database of suppliers and rental rates for Pune.
• Variation Management: analyze variations and claims to align with budget.

Role & responsibilities

• Quantity Take-off & Costing: Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) by studying architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for high-rise buildings.
• Budgeting: Develop comprehensive project budgets and cost plans for projects in various locations (Akurdi, Viman Nagar, Pashan, etc.), accounting for site-specific logistics and local material costs.
• Rate Analysis: Conduct thorough rate analysis for all civil, finishing, and MEP works based on current market trends in the Pune real estate market.
• Tendering & Bidding: Scrutinize tender documents, prepare technical/commercial bid comparisons, and assist in the finalization of subcontractors and vendors.
• Value Engineering: Identify opportunities for cost-saving through alternative materials or construction methods without compromising quality or safety.
• Market Research: Maintain an updated database of material suppliers, labor contractors, and equipment rental rates specific to the Pune region.
• Variation Management: Analyze and process extra items, variations, and claims during the construction phase to ensure they align with the estimated budget.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering. A Post-Graduation in Construction Management or NICMAR certification is a plus.
• Experience: 3-9 years of experience in estimation and costing, specifically for High-Rise Residential (RCC) projects.
• Technical Proficiency: * Expertise in AutoCAD and MS Excel (Advanced).

Experience with estimation software like Presto, Candy, or MS Project.

Strong knowledge of IS Codes and standard measurement practices.

• Soft Skills: Sharp analytical thinking, negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple project locations simultaneously.
