Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in India requires a skilled engineer versed in structural fabrications, GA drawings, and vendor expediting. The role involves ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to L&T SOP while coordinating with vendors at site locations in Gujarat.

You will manage material handling, welding knowledge, NDT awareness, and prepare short- and long-term plans; also responsible for daily progress reports and data required for customer invoicing, along with BOQ preparation and detailing plans.

Qualifications

• Experience in reading structural GA drawings and fabrications.
• Vendor management and expediting experience.
• Knowledge of welding and weld symbols, plus NDT.
• Proficiency in planning and progress reporting with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare three-month plans and monthly/weekly updates.
• Mobilize resources and coordinate with vendors.
• Update progress reports daily and provide data for invoicing.
• Prepare BOQ and interpret structural/architectural drawings.

Required knowledge of structural fabrications and able to study structural drawings in correlation with structural GA . Having experience in vendor management and expediting works. Knowledge of welding .Execution of works with quality ,Safety and dedicated to follow L&T SOP. Experience in material handling, structural assembly processes .

Sound knowledge of Welding , weld quality and weld symbols.

Knowledge of NDT.

Sound knowledge of resource mobilizations.

Flexible to move at vendor places for expediting .Responsible for preparation of three months planning followed by monthly planning and weekly planning.

Able to work on excel and responsible for daily update of progress report.

Responsible for provide necessary data for customer invoicing.

BOQ preparation and knowledge of structural detail/Marking Plan and Architectural drawings.
