Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Vadodara, India, seeks a skilled professional to manage structural fabrications, study structural drawings and correlate with GA drawings on site.

The role covers vendor management, expediting works, welding, NDT awareness, material handling, structural assembly, and daily progress reporting in Excel, with mobility to vendor sites as needed and provide data for invoicing.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of structural fabrications and ability to study structural drawings in correlation with GA drawings.
• Experience in vendor management and expediting works.
• Knowledge of welding and execution with quality, safety and adherence to L&T SOPs.
• Experience in material handling and structural assembly processes.
• Sound knowledge of welding, weld quality and weld symbols.
• Knowledge of NDT.
• Resource mobilization expertise.
• Willingness to move to vendor sites for expediting and preparing three months planning followed by monthly and weekly planning.
• Ability to maintain daily progress reports in Excel and provide data for customer invoicing.
• BOQ preparation and understanding of structural detail/Marking Plan and Architectural drawings.
