Job summary

PeopleStrong seeks a dedicated professional with strong knowledge of structural fabrication, drawings, and vendor expediting. The role requires welding, NDT awareness, and experience in material handling and structural assembly. You will coordinate planning, mobilize resources at vendor sites, and ensure accurate data for invoicing.

The candidate should be proficient in Excel, able to prepare BOQs, and work closely with project teams to follow SOPs and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of structural fabrications and ability to read GA/structural drawings.
• Experience in vendor management and expediting works.
• Knowledge of welding, weld quality and weld symbols.
• Familiarity with NDT procedures.
• Experience in material handling and structural assembly processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate three months, monthly and weekly schedules with vendors.
• Move to vendor sites for expediting as needed.
• Maintain Excel-based daily progress reports and data updates.
• Provide data for customer invoicing and billing.
• Prepare BOQ and knowledge of marking plans and architectural drawings.

Job Description

Required knowledge of structural fabrications and able to study structural drawings in correlation with structural GA . Having experience in vendor management and expediting works. Knowledge of welding .Execution of works with quality ,Safety and dedicated to follow L&T SOP. Experience in material handling, structural assembly processes .

Sound knowledge of Welding , weld quality and weld symbols.

Knowledge of NDT.

Sound knowledge of resource mobilizations.

Flexible to move at vendor places for expediting .Responsible for preparation of three months planning followed by monthly planning and weekly planning.

Able to work on excel and responsible for daily update of progress report.

Responsible for provide necessary data for customer invoicing.

BOQ preparation and knowledge of structural detail/Marking Plan and Architectural drawings.
