Job summary

Movate Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an Ericsson 2G NPO Engineer for the Nokia GDC, Noida, on a permanent on-site basis.

Qualifications

Detailed Job Description

As an Ericsson 2G NPO Engineer supporting advanced mobile networks at the Nokia GDC in Noida via Movate Technologies Pvt. Ltd., you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of 2G radio frequency performance, KPI dip analysis, and WCL RCA (Worst Cell List Root Cause Analysis). Your day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing counter-level KPIs, examining detailed parameter hierarchies, conducting root cause analysis for network degradation, and generating daily performance dashboards. You will work extensively with both Nokia and Ericsson telecom equipment and utilize specialized optimization tools such as NetAct, ENM, WinFiol, and Mycom.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and manage end-to-end 2G Network Planning & Optimization (NPO) activities across mobile networks.
• Operate, configure, and optimize multi-vendor radio access network equipment spanning both Nokia and Ericsson platforms.
• Perform detailed counter-level Key Performance Indicator (KPI) analysis, traffic profiling, and performance tracking.
• Conduct rigorous KPI dip analysis, Worst Cell List (WCL) Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and targeted parameter tuning.
• Generate, monitor, and distribute daily performance dashboards, trend reports, and network health summaries.
• Utilize specialized carrier optimization and network management tools including NetAct, ENM, WinFiol, and Mycom.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with client engineering teams, field operations squads, and regional network centers.
• Ensure strict adherence to high-availability service level agreements (SLAs), network KPIs, and optimization standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Relevant professional hands-on experience in 2G Network Planning & Optimization (NPO) within mobile telecom environments.
• Mandatory hands-on experience and deep technical expertise with both Nokia and Ericsson telecom equipment and management systems.
• Proven proficiency in counter-level KPI analysis, parameter auditing, WCL RCA, and performance dip troubleshooting.
• Practical operational knowledge of industry-standard optimization tools such as NetAct, ENM, WinFiol, and Mycom.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication capabilities.
• Mandatory legal work eligibility in India with local residency and availability for on-site operations at Nokia GDC, Noida.
• High professional accountability, attention to detail, and ability to manage end-to-end NPO cycles independently.
