Job summary

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. is seeking a Vehicle Inspection professional to oversee inspection after assembly, ensuring zero defects for customers. Role involves evaluation of vehicles, development of inspection standards, and training of inspectors.

The incumbent will work on new model development, testing, and process standardization, with a focus on cost reduction and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience post qualification.
• Knowledge of Vehicle Inspection Activity as per Standards; line inspectors and associates management.
• Understanding of Engineering Drawing/Inspection standards and process standards for inspectors.
• Knowledge about vehicle driving and testing; assessing new vehicles in trials and closing issues.
• Knowledge about vehicle inspection equipments and ISO quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle Inspection after Assembly Stage.
• Regulation mass production vehicle quality inspection to ensure zero defects at customer.
• Development (Inspection & Evaluation) of Vehicles.
• New Model development, testing and inspection process standardization.
• Cost reduction initiatives in inspection processes.
• Ability to train new inspectors for capability improvement & skill development.
