Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. in Mehsana is seeking a Vehicle Quality Export Quality Inspection professional to ensure vehicles meet export specifications before dispatch.

The role requires 2–7 years of experience in vehicle inspection, PDI, and global quality benchmarks, with hands-on logistics and defect resolution across the export process. You will maintain inspection records, drive corrective actions, and coordinate with production, suppliers and logistics to achieve zero defects on export

Qualifications

• 2–7 years in vehicle quality or export QC
• Knowledge of inspection standards and global quality benchmarks
• Experience with vehicle PDI and export market quality requirements
• Defect analysis and corrective actions per quality systems
• Familiarity with ISO/TS/IATF quality systems and continuous improvement

Responsabilités

• Conduct quality inspection of vehicles before export dispatch.
• Verify compliance with customer specs and destination country requirements.
• Identify, analyze and report daily defects and non-conformities.
• Coordinate with Production, suppliers, and logistics for defect rectifications.
• Monitor Pre Delivery Inspection activities and ensure vehicle readiness for export.
• Analyse field and shipment related quality issues and implement corrective & preventive actions.
• Maintain quality records, inspection reports and defect trend data.
• Support continuous improvements initiatives to enhance Product Quality, Process Quality & Customer satisfaction.
• Ensure safe handling & prevention of vehicles during storage, yard operations & vehicle handling.
• Handle vehicle inspection at port including yard and vessel locations.
• Handle repair projects to support shipments.
• Coordinate with all plant departments for defect control.
• Handle transit defects transported through Trailer, Auto-wagon, and Container.

Nature of Experience

Knowledge of Vehicle Inspection Process, Standards & Global Quality benchmarks. Experience in Vehicle PDI, Export market quality requirements, defect root cause analysis, process improvements & maintaining customer satisfaction for global export markets. Hands on experience of Vehicles Logistic Process, challenges, & improvements required.

Good knowledge of Vehicle systems and automotive engineering.

Ability to set up capable processes & identify improvement points.

Defect analysis capability for resolving quality problems.

Exposure in Quality systems (ISO/TS/IATF).

Working Knowledge of inspection aids & measurement equipment.

Knowledge of Process improvement methodologies (Kaizen / Lean / Six Sigma).

Effective communication & MS Excel knowledge.

Other Requirements

Computer proficiency for documentation and reporting.
