Job summary

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. is seeking a skilled Vehicle Inspector aligned with post-assembly inspection. The role requires 3–7 years of relevant experience and deep knowledge of vehicle inspection standards, drawings, and testing practices.

You will work on the shop floor, coordinating with line workers, applying inspection equipment, and ensuring issues are resolved in line with ISO quality requirements. Strong regulatory awareness is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of relevant experience post qualification.
• Knowledge of Vehicle Inspection Activity per Standards and translating drawings/standards into process standards for inspectors.
• Familiarity with vehicle testing, trials, and issue closure.
• Experience with vehicle inspection equipment and ISO quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle inspection after assembly stage.
• Assess new vehicles in trials, provide feedback, and ensure closure of issues.
• Manage line workmen and line stations to support quality checks.
• Ensure compliance with ISO and other quality systems; regulatory awareness.

• Years of experience: Should have 3 ~ 7 years of relevant experience post qualification.
• Nature of experience: Knowledge of Vehicle Inspection Activity as per Standards. Understanding and conversion of Engineering Drawings /Inspection standards into Process Standards for Inspectors.
• Knowledge about vehicle driving and testing.
• Assessing new vehicles in trials, giving feedbacks and ensuring closure of issues.
• Knowledge about vehicle inspection equipments.
• Managing Line workmen and workstations
• Knowledge about ISO and quality systems
