Job summary

The Hiring Club is seeking a Quality Assurance Line Inspector with a Diploma in Mechanical or a B.Sc. The role focuses on inspection of parts as per plans and drawings, including in-process, first/last piece, and inward/outward checks.

You will quarantine NC parts, participate in NC reviews, and data-collect for SPC/MSA studies. Knowledge of GD&T, measurement methods, and drawing interpretation is essential, with at least 1 year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or B.Sc. is required.
• Knowledge of inspection techniques as per plans and drawings.
• Familiarity with GD&T and measurement methods.
• Understanding of SPC & MSA concepts.
• Experience in first piece/last piece and in-process inspection.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts as per inspection plans and drawings.
• Perform first piece, last piece and in-process inspections.
• Carry out inward inspection of outsourced parts and final inspection.
• Quarantine NC parts and avoid mix-ups with OK parts.
• Participate in NC review meetings.
• Authorize stoppage of shipment or production for non-conformities.
• Collect data for SPC studies as per plan.
• Collect data for MSA studies as per plan.
• Handle inspection and test equipment listed above.
• Carry out product audits as per plan.
• Maintain quality records per retention procedures.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Quality Assurance Line Inspector Diploma in Mechanical or B.Sc.

• 1. Conduct inspection of all parts as per inspection plans & drawings.
• 2. Carry out first piece / last piece as well as in process inspection of all parts as per inspection plan.
• 3. Carryout inward inspection of outsourced parts & final inspection of parts.
• 4. Quarantine NC parts & avoid mix-up with OK parts.
• 5. Participate in NC review meetings.
• 6. Authorize to stop shipment & production in case of non conformity occurs.
• 7. Collect data for SPC studies as per plan.
• 8. Collect data for MSA studies as per plan.
• 9.Knowledge of handling different inspection & test equipments like Micrometer Vernier Height gauge Roughness Tester Bore gauges Dial gauges Air gauges Profile projector Vision Measuring System (VMM) Qualifying gauges Flatness Tester
• 10. Carryout product audits as per plan.
• 11. Maintain quality records as per retention period mentioned in procedure.
