Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering (full-time).
• 3–20 years of experience in engineering & design of Material Handling, mining, steel or port equipment.
• Strong knowledge of machine design, drive systems, hydraulics, and structural engineering.
• Ability to perform equipment sizing calculations, design validation, and engineering documentation.
• Experience in consultancy, design centres, or EPC organisations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design belt conveyors, pipe conveyors, stacker reclaimers, wagon tipplers, feeders, etc.
• Prepare design calculations, equipment sizing, drive selection, and technical specifications.
• Review drawings and technical offers for project conformity to specs and standards.
• Conduct technical bid evaluations and vendor reviews; provide procurement recommendations.
• Review and approve vendor documents, calculations, GA/fabrication drawings, and submissions.
• Ensure compliance with Indian and international standards and safety regs.
• Provide technical support to project teams during execution, construction and commissioning.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Inventor for modelling.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Should have experience in analysis and design of Belt Conveyors, Pipe Conveyors, Stacker Reclaimers, Wagon Tipplers, Feeders etc.
• Should have detailed engineering experience in experience in stacker reclaimer, port cranes, ship loader, unloader, etc. is requiredPrepare design calculations, equipment sizing, drive selection, technical evaluation & specifications, datasheets, and engineering deliverables.
• Review drawings, and technical offers to ensure compliance with project specifications and industrial standards.
• Conducttechnical bid evaluations, vendor offer reviews and provide recommendations for procurement.
• Reviewand approve vendor documents, calculations, GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and design submissions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Indian and International standards, safety regulations, and engineering best practices.
• Provide technical support to project teams during project execution, construction and commissioning phases.
• Experience in software like Auto Cad and Inventor for modelling is necessary
