Job summary

Modtech is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer in Faridabad, Haryana, with 3 to 8 years of experience in bulk material handling and conveyor systems. You will design electrical systems for belt conveyors, pipe conveyors, feeders, crushers and material handling equipment, prepare SLDs, control schematics, wiring diagrams and panel drawings.

Responsibilities include selecting and sizing motors, VFDs, MCCs, PLCs, sensors and cables; reviewing MCC/PCC and PLC control panel designs with customers;

Qualifications

• 3 to 8 years of experience in electrical design for bulk material handling systems.
• B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with strong conveyor experience.
• Experience drafting SLDs, control schematics and wiring diagrams.

Qualification: B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical design and engineering for belt conveyors, pipe conveyors, feeders, crushers and material handling systems.
• Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD), control schematics, wiring diagrams and panel drawings.
• Selection and sizing of motors, VFDs, MCCs, PLCs, sensors, cables and electrical components.
• Review of MCC/PCC and PLC control panel designs with Customers
• Prepare cable schedules, I/O lists, BOM and electrical load calculations.
• Develop PLC/SCADA control philosophy .
• Coordinate electrical design with Mechanical and Project Engineering teams.
• Review vendor drawings and technical specifications.
• Support commissioning and troubleshooting at site when required.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant electrical standards and customer specifications.

Desired Technical Skills
