Job summary

Rubiscape, an Indian tech leader in decision intelligence, seeks an Engineering Programme Manager to drive the engineering roadmap from PI planning to post-launch retrospectives. You will collaborate with the CTO, studio leads, and enterprise success teams to deliver scalable outcomes within 90 days to first production use cases.

You will own cross-team PI cycles, manage risks, and coordinate capacity planning and budget prioritisation aligned to OKRs, while delivering clear executive status

Qualifications

• 7+ years of engineering programme management experience in enterprise software.
• At least 3 years in an agile (SAFe or LeSS) delivery environment.
• SAFe SPC or RTE certification or equivalent; PMP/PgMP preferred.
• Expert-level proficiency in Jira and Azure DevOps for planning, dependency tracking, dashboards, and reporting.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to track ROI for platform investments.

Responsibilities

• Own the Rubiscape engineering programme roadmap: define milestones, critical paths, resource plans, and risk registers.
• Drive SAFe Programme Increment (PI) Planning cycles: coordinate cross-team capacity and publish programme board.
• Manage programme-level risks, issues, and decisions (RAID) and resolve blockers across teams.
• Collaborate with Finance and Engineering leadership on capacity planning and headcount forecasting.
• Own the release governance: stage-gate reviews, go/no-go decisions, and post-release SLA tracking.
• Produce monthly programme health reports for executive leadership.
• Establish and continuously improve engineering programme management standards and tooling.

Rubiscape’s platform spans six integratedstudios, 200+ enterprise integrations, and deployment models ranging frompublic SaaS to air-gap on-premises — coordinating this complexity at programmescale requires exceptional engineering programme management. The EngineeringProgramme Manager owns the Rubiscape engineering roadmap execution: from annualPI Planning through to quarterly release governance and post-launchretrospectives. You will work directly with the CTO, studio engineering leads,and enterprise customer success teams to ensure that Rubiscape’s promise offewer than 90 days to first production use case is delivered consistently andrepeatably. This role operates at the intersection of strategy and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Own theRubiscape engineering programme roadmap: define milestones, critical paths,resource plans, and risk registers across all six studios and shared platformworkstreams.
• Drive SAFeProgramme Increment (PI) Planning cycles: coordinate cross-team capacity,facilitate PI objectives setting, and publish the programme board withcross-team dependencies visible.
• Manageprogramme-level risks, issues, and decisions (RAID log) using Azure DevOps;escalate and resolve blockers that span organisational boundaries withincommitted timelines.
• Partnerwith Finance and Engineering leadership on capacity planning, headcountforecasting, and engineering investment prioritisation aligned to Rubiscape’sOKRs.
• Own theRubiscape release governance process: stage-gate reviews, go/no-go decisions,customer communication plans, and post-release incident SLA tracking.
• Producemonthly programme health reports for the executive team covering scheduleadherence, budget burn, quality metrics, and strategic milestone progress.
• Establishand continuously improve engineering programme management standards, templates,and tooling adopted across all delivery teams.

Requirements

• 7+ yearsof engineering programme management experience in enterprise software, with atleast 3 years in an agile (SAFe or LeSS) delivery environment.
• SAFeProgramme Consultant (SPC) or SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification,demonstrating deep knowledge of PI Planning, ART execution, and programme-levelmetrics.
• Expert-levelproficiency in Jira and Azure DevOps for programme planning, dependencytracking, portfolio dashboards, and executive reporting.
• Demonstratedexperience managing programmes with multiple concurrent engineering teams,cross-functional dependencies, and enterprise customer commitments.
• Strongfinancial acumen: comfortable managing engineering capacity budgets, headcountplans, and ROI tracking for platform investments.
• Excellentexecutive communication skills — able to translate complex engineeringprogramme status into clear, concise narratives for C-suite and enterprisecustomer stakeholders.
