The President (Infrastructure) will provide strategic leadership for the planning, development, execution, and operations of all infrastructure for GIFT City. The role is responsible for delivering world-class, smart, resilient, and sustainable infrastructure aligned to the City’s long-term growth vision. This role is on a fixed-term contract.

Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 25 years of experience in infrastructure planning and execution including at least 5 years in leadership roles, preferably in Smart Cities, Urban Development Authorities, City Development, large-scale Infrastructure Projects, Integrated Townships.
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end infrastructure delivery across multiple engineering disciplines; familiarity with smart utility technologies and sustainable urban development practices.

Role Descriptions
- Formulate and steer the infrastructure strategy in alignment with GIFT City’s development roadmap.
- Lead all infrastructure domains including Civil, Electrical, Water & Waste Management, DCS, I&C and City Operations.
- Prepare integrated and phased infrastructure development plans.
- Oversee planning and execution of greenfield and brownfield infrastructure projects and public utilities.
- Lead end-to-end design, engineering, tendering, contracting and construction activities.
- Ensure coordination across departments to achieve project timelines, quality, and approved budgets.
- Review and approve engineering designs, BOQs, SOPs, and statutory submissions.
- Drive integration of smart infrastructure technologies including automation, SCADA and sustainability-led solutions.
- Lead annual and project-wise capex planning, feasibility evaluations and financial modelling.
- Ensure value engineering, cost optimization, and adherence to financial and stakeholder expectations.
- Oversee operations and maintenance of city utilities (WTP, STP, DCS, AWCS, roads, lighting, waste systems).
- Enhance service efficiency, uptime, responsiveness and quality of urban services.
- Implement governance systems, monitoring dashboards and quality frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, environmental and audit requirements.
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering, project and city operations teams with a high-performance and safety-driven culture.
- Collaborate with internal departments, government agencies, and external stakeholders for integrated service delivery.
