Job summary

Giftgujarat is looking for a Civil Engineer to manage various civil infrastructure projects. The candidate should have at least 7 years of experience in related fields, ideally with a B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering. Responsibilities include site management, documentation, liaising with teams, and maintaining safety standards. This is a contracted position for 3 years located in Gandhinagar, Gujarat with a pay scale of Rs. 53,100-1,67,800.

Qualifications

Civil Engineering | Contractual -Full-Time | On-Site

To provide services for professional management & supervision of various Civil infrastructure works. Main job shall be site management and work related to civil infra (Utility Tunnel, Roads and Buildings), as per scope, defined by the contract, and objective of GIFT.

Pay Band

• Commensurate with qualifications and experience (in the pay-scale of Rs.53,100-1,67,800)

Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech in civil engineering. Minimum 60% in graduation or higher studies.

Experience

• 7+ years experience in relevant field for candidates having B.E. / B.Tech. Civil degree or 5+ years of experience for candidates having M.E./M.Tech Civil / MBA - Project Management degree
• Proficient in computer (MS Word & Excel), AutoCAD, and can prepare MIS.
• Preferably candidate should be Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from premium institute.
• Experience in major RCC structure/utility plants/Building works and roads etc.
• Experience of civil opex in plants with multiple utility interface shall be an added advantage.
• Experience in coordination with contractors, labours, office team.
• Hardworking, with good knowledge of handling site and team, effective communication skills.
• Understanding of the drawing and site implementation.
• Ability to work in group.
• Experience of recording of works, billing, physical verification for payment, and audit purpose.
• Conversant with IS code of measurement.
