Job summary

KONE is seeking an Engineer / Senior Engineer - Field Quality (SEB) to join our Global Service team in India. You will conduct safety and quality audits, coordinate with maintenance teams, and ensure compliance with safety policies and standards for our field equipment.

The role focuses on root cause analysis, audit of stores, and collaboration with field teams to close NCs and certify repairs. Candidates should have knowledge of SEB processes, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in MS

Qualifications

• Experience with SEB process and MBM.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of AS, AR, AM documents.
• Familiarity with SEB spare parts.
• Analytical skills for root cause audits.
• Basic computer skills: MS Excel & PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for Safety & Quality audits on equipment per safety policy.
• Discuss and follow up with maintenance on NC closures.
• Conduct safety audits prior to safety certification; perform root cause analysis.
• Perform focus checklist audits for new lifts.
• Certify major repair work completion.
• Perform C4LIS audits on equipment provided by modernization/service and update EDMS.
• Audit stores.
• Audit monthly and quarterly materials, tools, processes in storage locations with branch finance.
• Audit Non-KONE equipment before maintenance fold.
• Certify local scrap of spare parts with HO SEB Support team.
• Meet customers per CCMP process.
• Identify root cause for customer complaints.

What will you be doing?

• Accountable for Safety & Quality Audits on equipment’s in adherence with KONE safety policy & Standards
• Discuss, follow-up with the maintenance team about captured NC and confirm closure
• Responsible to conduct safety audit prior to safety certification for equipment’s and do root cause analysis
• Responsible to do focus check list audit for new lifts
• Accountable to certify major repair work completion
• Accountable to perform C4LIS audits on equipment’s provided by Modernization/ Service Manager and update the audit points in EDMS
• Accountable to perform audit on Stores
• Responsible for Monthly & Quarterly Materials, tools & process audit in Storage locations in coordination with branch finance
• Accountable to audit Non –KONE Equipment’s before taking into maintenance fold
• Accountable to Certify for local scrap of spare parts in coordination with HO SEB Support team
• Responsible to meet customers as per CCMP process
• Identify root cause for customer complaints
