Junior Engineer - Field Quality (NBS)

Job summary

KONE seeks a Quality Assurance professional in India to perform and document developmental tests, conduct inspections, and generate quality reports. You will coordinate with Quality Engineers and Production Supervisors for continuous improvement, support root-cause analysis, and participate in environmental and ISO 9001/14001 compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with quality systems and ISO standards is preferred.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Good communication with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and support corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Documents, analyzes, performs, and interprets developmental tests for new and/or modified products or product components according to quality policies and procedures.
• Perform product and process inspections as directed.
• Write reports regarding quality measurements, inspections, etc. Record inspection results.
• Communicate with Quality Engineer and Production Supervisor on Quality issues and continuous improvement.
• Perform root cause analysis as necessary to support KONE Corrective Action Program.
• Perform auditing activities of full chain including customer service, engineering, manufacturing, logistics etc.
• Know, respect and make others respect the KONE Quality and Environmental Policy.
• Comply with all ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements.
• Comply with all the KONE environmental Aspects.
• Known of all the significant environmental aspects that contribute to the carbon footprint, also support to achieve the goals.
