Job summary

Techsol Engineers in Bangalore is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to manage day-to-day procurement coordination, vendor management, inventory planning, order tracking, and logistics to ensure timely material availability.

The role requires collaboration with internal teams such as Sales, Engineering and Production, strong Excel and ERP exposure, and a proven ability to handle multiple orders and keep records up to date.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of supply chain management and procurement processes.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems; Zoho/SAP/Oracle experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, internal departments and logistics partners for timely material availability.
• Raise and process POs and follow up on confirmations and deliveries.
• Track purchase orders, delivery schedules and pending materials.
• Coordinate with vendors on pricing, lead time, quality and delivery commitments.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimum stock availability.
• Coordinate with stores/warehouse teams for GRN and stock reconciliation.
• Follow up on delays and short-supplies and resolve issues.
• Support procurement by obtaining quotations and preparing comparative statements.
• Maintain records of POs, vendor details, schedules and procurement documents.
• Coordinate with finance for invoice and payment-related issues.
• Work with Sales, Engineering, Projects, Stores, Finance and Production teams to understand material requirements.
• Identify alternate vendors and improve procurement efficiency.
• Prepare reports on purchase status, pending orders, inventory and vendor performance.
• Ensure adherence to company procurement and SCM processes.

Job Purpose

To manage and coordinate day-to-day supply chain activities including procurement coordination, vendor management, inventory planning, order tracking, logistics and timely material availability to support smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, internal departments and logistics partners for timely material availability.
  
• Raise and process Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up on order confirmations and deliveries.
  
• Track purchase orders, delivery schedules and pending materials.
  
• Coordinate with vendors regarding pricing, lead time, quality and delivery commitments.
  
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimum stock availability.
  
• Coordinate with stores/warehouse teams for GRN, material receipt and stock reconciliation.
  
• Follow up on delayed or short-supplied materials and ensure timely resolution.
  
• Support procurement activities by obtaining quotations and preparing comparative statements.
  
• Maintain accurate records of POs, vendor details, delivery schedules and procurement documents.
  
• Coordinate with the finance team for invoice and payment-related issues.
  
• Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Projects, Stores, Finance and Production teams to understand material requirements.
  
• Assist in identifying alternate vendors and improving procurement efficiency.
  
• Prepare regular reports on purchase status, pending orders, inventory and vendor performance.

Requirements

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Commerce, Business Administration or a related field.

Preferred Experience

Experience in an Engineering / Manufacturing / Industrial / Projects environment with exposure to technical products, components, spares or project procurement will be preferred.

Required Skills
