Job summary

Petronash Engineering Services Pvt Ltd. in Chennai seeks a Procurement Specialist with 5+ years of experience to manage post-order material purchases and project timelines. The role involves MR releases, PO placements, and ensuring logistics align with the project plan.

You will coordinate with Sourcing Cell, PMT and Engineering to timely order materials and monitor supplier performance to meet delivery commitments.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering with relevant procurement experience.
• Diploma/Degree in engineering will be an added advantage.
• 3–14 years of procurement/expediting experience in EPC/ skid-based package manufacturing or EPCM.
• Middle East experience will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Execute post-order management of raw material purchases including logistics till delivery.
• Prepare and update project material plan with timelines for MR releases and PO placements.
• Material delivery and logistics for assigned projects.
• Collaborate with Sourcing Cell, PMT and Engineering for timely material ordering as per plan.
• Review plans for all projects and take corrective action with departments/vendors to meet delivery dates.
• Provide input to expediting plans after review with Project Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities

• ResponsibleforexecutingthepostordermanagementofallRawMaterialPurchasesincludinglogisticstill
  delivery.
• PrepareandupdateprojectmaterialplanencompassingthetimelinesforMRReleases,POPlacements,
• MaterialDeliveryandLogisticsforassignedprojects.
• ResponsibleforcollaborationwithSourcingCell,PMTandEngineeringfortimelyorderingofmaterialasperthe
  projectplan.
• Reviewtheplanfrequentlyforalltheassignedprojectsandtotakenecessarycorrectiveactionbycoordinating
  withrespectivedepartments/Vendorstomeettherequiredplanneddeliverydate.
• ProvideinputtoSr,ProcurementSpecialist/LeadProcurementSpecialistforpreparingprojectexpeditingplan
  forassignedprojectsafterreviewwiththeProjectManage.
• Ensurethatthevendorsareperformingasperthetermsandconditionsofpurchaseorderingeneral.
  NoncomplianceofcontractualrequirementsifanymustbetakenupimmediatelywithVendorforcompliance
  ortoescalatetoManagement.
• EnsuretimelysubmissionofengineeringdocumentsandProgressstatusreportsbysuppliers
  CoordinatewithEngineering/projects/InspectionforearlyapprovalofdocumentsandensureEngineering
  clearanceforstartingthemanufacturingwithinthestipulatedtimetoavoidimpactondelivery.
• Monitortheperformanceofsuppliersandensurethatthemanufacturingisprogressingaspertheagreed
  deliveryschedule.
• Escalateanydeviationsorchallengestokeystakeholdersforimmediateresolution.
• Ensuretimelyandaccurateupdatingofprocurementstatusreports.
• CoordinateforinspectionasperapprovedInspectionTestPlan
• Updatethematerialshipmentplanaspertheprojectrequirement
• CoordinateforinboundlogisticsincludingvendorfinalizationifrequiredandensureforKPImonitoring.
• ProvidefeedbackontheperformanceofthesupplierstotheSourcingCell.
• EnsurethatthedepartmentalKPI’saremetandsubmitregularreports.
• Organizethedepartment,sectionorworkplacesothatanyoperationorworkcarriedoutistoasatisfactory
• standardofsafety,withminimumrisktopersons,materialsandequipment.
• Implementation of Health and Safety management system.
• Participates to HIARA and for new activities/task
• Takes part in all accident / incident investigation.
• Allocate enough time for Toolbox meetings and HSE trainings.
• Co-operate in the investigation of accidents with the objective of introducing methods to prevent re-
  ccurrence.
• Report all the unsafe conditions, near misses, Incidents etc. immediately to HSE department and ensure
  adequate control measures are taken to rectify the issues.

• This position requires the candidate to have a Diploma/Degree with relevant experience as mentioned below.
• A Diploma/Degree in engineering will be of an added advantage
• The candidate shall have more than 3-14 years of experience in Procurement and expediting for EPC/Skid based
  Package Manufacturing Industry/EPCM Organization
• Middle east experience will be an added advantage
