Job summary

Standard Radiators is seeking a Production Planning Controller to manage the plant's overall production planning and control, coordinating with the Plant head and executive leadership to optimize resource use and meet customer expectations.

The role involves analyzing sales plans, maintaining MIS data, forecasting material needs, controlling WIP, ensuring timely dispatches, and driving cross-functional improvements to achieve targeted productivity and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Sales plan and draw up Production schedule to meet customer commitments.
• Maintain and analyze MIS data for welding, brazing, daily production and product mix.
• Ensure inter- and intra-department communication to improve delivery.
• Ensure on-time dispatches for critical and urgent orders.
• Forecast material requirements for smooth production lines.
• Control WIP inventory as per plan.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiencies and improvements.
• Plan key equipment operations to meet productivity targets.
• Ensure compliance with audits, procedures and systems.
• Align PO with SO and manage packing sheets per PTR/CAC/D-cup/PNB.
• Explore job card system for weld shop for each welder.
• Present key production data to management.

Role

This position is responsible for the entire Production Planning Control for the Plant, in discussions with the Plant head / Head Commercial / Executive Director so as to ensure that all resources are utilized most optimally to meet the targets for the plant as per the customers expectations. The responsibilities include ensuring production as per accepted plan as well as controlling FG & WIP inventory at optimum levels.

Responsibilities

• To analyze the Sales plan and drawing up Production schedule to meet the customer commitment as per schedule
• To maintain and analyze various data from MIS like welding, brazing etc. and planning for daily production / product mix
• Ensure regular inter and intra department communication to maintain and improve department delivery
• Ensure on time dispatches for critical and urgent dispatches
• To forecast and ensure material requirements for smooth running of production lines
• To ensure and control WIP inventory as per the plan
• Coordinating with CFTs for efficiencies, losses, sample development or pilot batch of various processes and suggest improvements (PTR, CAC, D-CUP and PNB)
• To off schedule and plan key equipment operations to ensure targeted productivity and meet customer requirements
• Ensure compliances as per various audits, procedures and systems
• To PO align with SO
• Packing Sheet Make As per P1 and P2 (PTR, Cac, D-cup and PNB)
• Exploring Job Card system for weld shop for each welder.
• Key production data to management

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification and Experiences

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 5-6 years of relevant experience in manufacturing industry / Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) with 3+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing industry
