Job summary

Metso in India seeks a Production Planning professional to coordinate the track product line assembly. You will prepare daily/weekly/monthly plans, monitor production and despatch, and manage SAP PP activities including production orders.

The role requires a Mechanical background with 2–4 years of experience, strong Excel/Docs skills, and compliance with ISO9000 standards. Office/workshop environment in Rajasthan, Alwar region.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE in Mechanical with 2–4 years experience.
• Experience in SAP PP module.
• Familiar with industrial reporting and standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly plans and reports.

JOB STATEMENT

This position is responsible for planning of Track Product line assembly.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly plan & reports.
• Monitoring of Production and Despatch activities as per plan.
• Monitoring of Production orders and SAP activities for PP module.
• Study of drawings and BOMs
• Good Knowledge of machining process.
• Well versed in documentation on ISO9000, ensure compliance of standards and documentation.
• Good knowledge of Ms Excel, Word, PPT

RELATIONSHIPS & AUTHORITY

1. Report directly to Manager planning
2. Planning of track machines,
3. Co ordination with internal departments- SCM, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, SSO, Production etc.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Diploma/BE (Mechanical) 2-4 yrs experience.
• Experience in ERP – SAP in PP module
• Familiar with industrial reporting and standards.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• A high level of computer skills is essential – Ms Excel, Word, PPT and Lotus Notes.
• Good in drawings studies.
• Good Knowledge of machining process.
• Highly motivated individual with good communication and interpersonal skills.
