Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking an Engineer – P&M to manage end-to-end plant and machinery on a construction site, including planning, maintenance, safety compliance, and coordinating with execution teams to ensure high equipment availability and cost efficiency. Lead the P&M function to align with project timelines and requirements.

The role involves preparing maintenance schedules, supervising breakdown responses, monitoring costs, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and SOPs at the site.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree(s) in mechanical, electrical or automobile disciplines.
• 3–10 years of relevant site P&M experience.
• Experience with preventive and breakdown maintenance and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement site-specific preventive maintenance schedules for all critical and support equipment.
• Supervise breakdown response, root cause analysis, and timely repairs in coordination with technicians, OEMs, and vendors.
• Monitor equipment utilization, fuel consumption, idle time, operating costs, and drive actions to improve efficiency.
• Ensure all equipment and operators comply with safety protocols, statutory requirements, and internal SOPs.

Job Description
