Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Project Engineer in India to plan, coordinate, and execute UPS-focused electrical projects from initiation to completion. You will engage with customers, consultants, and internal teams to ensure safe, on-time, and quality delivery, including installation, testing, and handover.

The role requires a diploma or B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics and experience with electrical infrastructure and data center projects. Strong communication and project management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical infrastructure, UPS systems, data centers, or industrial projects.
• Knowledge of project management tools and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute project activities as per customer requirements and project timelines.
• Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.

• Manage project documentation, including drawings, reports, and handover documents.
• Coordinate material availability, logistics, and site resources.
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support during project execution.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure work is completed as per approved specifications.
• Prepare progress reports and communicate project status to management and customers.
• Support warranty, snag-list closure, and post-installation activities.
