Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an experienced Project Manager for data centre projects involving UPS/power and HVAC systems. The role requires a qualified Electrical or Mechanical Engineer with strong MS Project skills and a track record of delivering complex site installations.

The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams, manage scope, cost, and quality, and ensure on-time project execution at client sites. Prior data centre delivery experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years experience in Project Management, preferably data centre projects.
• Qualified as Electrical or Mechanical Engineer.
• Experience delivering projects to meet delivery, quality and cost targets.
• Expertise in UPS/power systems or HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from initiation to delivery across data centre UPS/power and HVAC scope.
• Coordinate with factory, engineering, quality, procurement, and logistics for timely deliverables.
• Organize inspections and drive installation, testing, and commissioning at site.
• Create and maintain project schedules using MS Project; track progress and milestones.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget project completion.

Project Management preferably data center projects UPS / power and HVAC systems.

• Minimum 8 years experience in Project Management preferably data centre projects
• Should be qualified as an Electrical / Mechanical Engineer.
• Responsible for managing projects to meet delivery, quality and cost requirement
• Should have expertise either in UPS / power or HVAC systems.
• Experience in executing data centre projects will be an advantage
• Should be conversant with the use of MS projects and for creating schedules using MS project
• Should preferably be PMP certified
• Responsible for interacting with factory, engineering, quality, procurement, logistics for organizing timely deliverables
• Responsible for organizing inspections
• Responsible for driving installation, testing, commissioning project engineers for timely deliverables at site.
