Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Project Engineer in India to plan, coordinate, execute, and monitor projects from initiation to completion with a focus on safety, quality, cost, and schedule compliance. The role involves direct interaction with customers, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful delivery and handover of UPS and electrical power solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or B.Tech/B.E.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering is required.
  • Experience in electrical infrastructure, UPS systems, data centers, or industrial projects.
  • Knowledge of project management tools and MS Office.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute project activities as per customer requirements and project timelines.
  • Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
  • Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
  • Prepare project schedules and monitor progress against milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality procedures, and company policies.
  • Manage project documentation, including drawings, reports, and handover documents.
  • Coordinate material availability, logistics, and site resources.
  • Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support during project execution.
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure work is completed as per approved specifications.
  • Prepare progress reports and communicate project status to management and customers.
  • Support warranty, snag-list closure, and post-installation activities.
