Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Jagdalpur, India invites an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to lead electrical maintenance for caster and tunnel furnace systems. You will oversee day-to-day activities, coordinate with supervisors and technicians, and ensure adherence to safety protocols while delivering reliable plant performance.

The role requires hands-on knowledge of Siemens S120, G120 drives and ABB ACS 580/800/850, problem solving, reporting, and spare parts management to minimize downtime

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Caster or Tunnel Furnace with electrical background.
• Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronic engineering or Diploma in electrical.
• Experience in maintenance and shift handling of electrical systems in casting/rolling mill.
• Shall have Supervisory license for HT/LT systems.
• Hands-on ABB drives experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute day-to-day electrical maintenance for caster and tunnel furnace.
• Coordinate with supervisor, foreman, fitters and technicians and client.
• Prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
• Manage spare parts to minimize downtime.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed during electrical work.
• Organize materials and manpower for maintenance tasks.

Job description

• Should have experience in executing maintenance activities in Caster, Tunnel Furnace.
• Good knowledge of Electrical Power & Control system.
• Hands on experience of Siemens make drives viz. S120, G120 & ABB VFD like ACS 580, 800, 850
• Good in trouble shooting and break down analysis skills in electrical systems of HT & LT systems, HVAC system.
• Offer technical expertise to maintenance people like supervisor, foreman, fitters and technicians.
• Expertise in organizing, planning & coordination of day-to-day maintenance activities & Handling shift activities.
• Strategize on maintenance, work instruction and methods.
• Plan routine maintenance of plant equipment and machinery.
• Schedule and obtain project material and manpower.
• Check work-in-progress and during completion to meet specifications.
• Documentation and preparation of daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
• Responsible for spare management for machines to reduce breakdown time
• Complete know how of Safety systems & should be familiar with safety procedures while executing electrical work
• Good in Coordination and Communication, keeping good relationship with Team members and Client
• Should be familiar with Report preparation, PPT & Excel.

Qualification Requirements

• You should have minimum 5 years’ experience preferably in Caster, Tunnel Furnace, with bachelor’s degree in Electrical/ Electronic engineering or Diploma in electrical with 6-8 years of experience .
• Experience in maintenance & handling shift activities of electrical systems of Caster, Tunnel Furnace, Rolling mill
• Shall be able to join within One month from the date of Offer.
• Shall have the Supervisory license for HT/LT systems.
• Person have hands on experience on ABB drives most preferred.
