Job Summary

Inkarp Instruments is looking for an Engineer – Customer Support to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have 2–3 years of experience in instrumentation, electronics, or electromechanical service support. This role involves installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer support for scientific and analytical instruments at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, calibration, and commissioning of instrumentation and electronic equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance and breakdown service support at customer sites
• Diagnose and troubleshoot instrumentation, electronic, and electromechanical issues
• Respond to customer service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Coordinate with internal teams for technical support and spare parts requirements
• Maintain service reports, calibration records, and customer documentation
• Provide basic customer training and operational guidance when required
• Support after‑sales service activities and ensure customer satisfaction
• Travel within assigned territory for field service activities

Required Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma / Degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical, or related field
• 2–3 years of experience in instrumentation, electronics, or customer support/service engineering
• Basic understanding of instrumentation and electronic systems
• Good communication skills in English (verbal and written)
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, email handling, reporting)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills

Preferred Skills

• Hands‑on experience with analytical or scientific instruments
• Customer‑centric mindset with professional service attitude
• Ability to work independently and manage field assignments
• Team player with good interpersonal skills
