Job summary

ACG World in Maharashtra is seeking a qualified software engineer to configure PLC and SCADA programs for production machines, ensuring delivery per Sales Orders and following GMP/GAMP standards.

You will create and test code from master P&ID, document IIoT tags, generate operation manuals, perform I/O testing, and support validation activities across retrofit projects. 4–6 years of experience preferred; B&R, Mitsubishi, Zenon experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Four to six years of experience in design and development of control systems software using PLC and SCADA.
• Experience with B&R, Mitsubishi and Zenon platforms.
• Industry experience in PLC/SCADA system houses or OEMs for capital goods/pharma machines.
• Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation required.

Responsibilities

• Configure PLC and SCADA software codes from master P&ID/Flow chart and release for customer software V1.00 or higher.
• Create software codes for additional requirements from the customer scope using ACGE company guidelines for software level 1 modules and level 2 & 3 machine function design.
• Create, test, release and document the IIoT Tag list and interface functions.
• Create and deliver content (screenshots) to the documentation team for machine documentation and validation documents.
• Create, hand over and store software backups for customers.
• Execute and document disaster recovery process for PLC, SCADA, VFDs and servo systems.
• Testing and recording the software ITR results before releasing to production (using simulation software).
• Execute the machine I/O testing.

Configure and develop software programs (PLC, HMI and SCADA) for the projects using Master codes and GMP/ GAMP and ACG Company validation and test standards in-order to achieve on time delivery in full, for production machines as per Sales Order.

• Primary responsibilities-

Functional

Core:

• Configure PLC and SCADA software codes from master P & ID/ Flow chart, FS and release the same for customer software V1.00 or higher, as per customer Sales Order.
• Create PLC and SCADA software codes for additional requirements from the customer scope by using ACGE company software guidelines for software level 1 modules and level 2 & 3 machine function design .
• Create, test, release and document the IIOT Tag list and Interface function.
• Create and deliver the content (screen shots) to the documentation team for the machine documentation, including operation manuals and validation documents
• Create, hand over and store software backups for the customers.

Internal process

• Impart training to QA/ CFT on new machines functions and special customer solutions.
• Supporting QA to execute machine integration test results (ITR) before factory acceptance test (FAT)
• Provide information related to software and machine functions to support the Leader of Design and Integration.
• Release Software updates for the retrofit business to support leader of the hardware engineering.
• Providing feedback process to the master software team
