Job summary

Fortune Personnel Services in Maharashtra seeks a software engineer to configure PLC and SCADA/HMI software from Master P&ID, flowcharts and functional specs, release versions (V1.00+) for customers, and design additional modules according to guidelines.

You will create and document IIoT tag lists, develop visuals for manuals, perform backups, disaster recovery, and comprehensive ITR/IP testing, and support QA during integration testing, while coordinating software updates with the Hardware

Responsibilities

• Configure PLC and UI software (SCADA/HMI) from Master P&ID, flow charts, specs; release versions (V1.00+) for customers.
• Design PLC and SCADA/HMI software for additional customer requirements using guidelines for Level-1 to Level-3 designs.
• Create, test, release, and document IIoT tag lists and interface functions.
• Develop and share screenshots/content with documentation team for manuals, operation manuals, and validation documents.
• Create, hand over, and store software backups for all customer projects to ensure machine lifecycle traceability.
• Execute and document disaster recovery processes for PLC, SCADA, HMI, VFDs, and servo systems.
• Perform software testing using simulation tools and record ITR results prior to production release.
• Execute and document machine I/O testing as part of internal processes.
• Impart training to QA teams on new machine functions and customer solutions.
• Support QA during machine integration testing (ITR) before FAT.
• Provide software and machine-function inputs to the Design & Integration Leader.
• Release software updates for retrofit projects in coordination with Hardware Engineering team.
• Share structured feedback with the master software development team for continuous improvement

Job description

Functional Responsibilities

1. Configure PLC and User Interface software (SCADA/HMI) based on Master P&ID, Flow Charts, Functional Specifications, and Sales Orders; release software versions (V1.00 or higher) for customers.
2. Design PLC and SCADA/HMI software for additional customer requirements using company guidelines for:
   o Software Level-1 modules
   o Level-2 & 3 machine function design
3. Create, test, release, and document IIoT tag lists and interface functions.
4. Develop and share screenshots/content with the documentation team for machine manuals, operation manuals, and validation documents.
