Job summary

Quest Global in Karnataka seeks a Mechanical CAD Drafter with 2–6 years of hands-on AutoCAD experience to support industrial engineering projects. You will interpret P&ID and PFD drawings and create 2D layouts and detail drawings.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or a Diploma in Mechanical, have good communication and documentation skills, and cooperate with project engineers to ensure drawings comply with drafting standards and documentation requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and update 2D AutoCAD drawings, layouts, and detail drawings
• Support industrial engineering projects with accurate drafting work
• Interpret and work with engineering drawings, including P&ID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) and PFD (Process Flow Diagrams)
• Coordinate revisions with project engineers and maintain drawing records

Ensure compliance with drafting standards and project documentation requirements.

Work Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Diploma Mechanical
• 2–6 years of hands-on experience with AutoCAD
• Must be able to read and understand P&ID and PFD drawings
• Basic understanding of mechanical/piping components
• Good communication and documentation skills
