Job summary

Quest Global in Bengaluru, India, seeks piping designers and P&ID validators to support engineering projects through accurate drafting, design updates, and cross‑functional collaboration. You will work on P&IDs, PFDs, plot plans and design revisions to ensure drawings meet project requirements and standards.

Candidates should have 1–4 years of AutoCAD 2D drafting experience (P&ID, PFD, GA), familiarity with ASME/ASTM/EURO/CSA/AS codes, and strong teamwork, adaptability, and problem‑solving

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of AutoCAD 2D drafting experience (P&ID, PFD, GAs, etc).
• Familiarity with applicable national and international codes (ASME, ASTM, EURO, CSA, AS, etc).
• Ability to work effectively in diverse teams.
• Adaptability to new tools and technologies.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review P&IDs and 3D scans for discrepancies and markup required changes.
• Review and revise P&ID designs based on redline markups.
• Create plot plans from 3D scans with correct representation of equipment, piping, valves, and fittings.
• Assign tags for all equipment, instruments, and piping.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure drawings meet project requirements.
• Identify and document ambiguities in a structured way and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
• Guide team members on technical clarifications and issues.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical input where required.

Role Overview
