Job summary

Quest Global in Bengaluru is seeking a mechanical CAD designer with 3–6 years of experience in 3D modelling and 2D detailed drawings for Desalter Vessel internals. You will create BOMs, MTOs, and layout drawings while ensuring adherence to engineering and quality standards.

The role emphasizes producing accurate documentation, working to project schedules, and supporting senior leads to deliver high-quality equipment layouts to customers.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in mechanical/CAD design using Autodesk Inventor.
• 3D modelling and 2D detailed drawings for Desalter Vessel internals (added advantage).
• Create bulk MTOs and detailed BOMs with no supervision.
• Ensure drawings follow engineering and quality standards set by leads.

Responsibilities

• 3D Modelling and 2D Detailed drawings along with the documentation requirements, in compliance with project specifications, quality requirements, and overall project schedule
• Create Bill of Materials
• Create outline GA drawings
• Prepare bulk MTOs (Material Take Offs) and detailed BOMs (Bill of Materials) with nosupervision from Engineer.
• Ensure drawings follow the Engineering and quality standards set by the leads.
• Prepare layout drawings to customer to present the proposed equipment and the function of the equipment.
