Job summary

SYSTRA India seeks experienced professionals for Project Management Consultancy services for Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Works. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, procurement, risk management, and contract administration across a multi-stakeholder transportation project in India.

Engineering graduates with rail contract management experience will contribute to financial oversight, claims processing, and ensuring alignment with project milestones for NHSRCL-funded works.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree is required (B.E/B.Tech).
• 07 years of experience in contract management during construction phase in rail-based transit projects.
• Experience in projects funded by Bilateral/Multilateral Development Banks/Agencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing detailed integrated schedules aligned with the project schedule.
• Review and monitor work plans and schedules of stakeholders for consistency with the overall schedule.
• Assist in managing procurement life cycle till contract closure.
• Assist in risk analysis and mitigation measures.
• Assist in contract administration including dispute resolution and exit strategies.
• Assist in financial statement analysis and claims preparation for funding institutions.
• Prepare cost breakdown structures, baseline project cost, budgets and cashflow.

Hiring for Project Management Consultancy Services for Works of Signalling & Telecommunication System, SCADA System, and Ticketing System of Mumbai – Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project

Location

Ahemedabad/Delhi

Missions / Main Duties

• Assist in preparation of detailed integrated schedule for the entire Scope aligning with the Project schedule.
• Assist in review and monitor the work plans and schedules of various stakeholders and ensure consistency with the overall schedule.
• Assist in managing overall procurement life cycle till closure of contract.
• Assist in ensuring proper risk analysis, and recommending risk mitigation measures.
• Assistance in entire Contract administration, including dispute resolution, contract terminations, contract renegotiation, exit strategies, establishing standard procedures & tools etc.
• Assessment of project long term financial statements and preparation, submission and disbursement of claims to multi-lateral funding institution(if applicable).
• Preparation of cost breakdown structure, creation of baseline project cost (under its scope), budget and cashflow schedule.
• Assistance in Establishing procedures for any changes in the project criteria/scope.
• Assistance in legal matters.
• Any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by PD and Client(NHSRCL).

Min. Qualification

Engineering Graduate (B.E/B.Tech)

Experience

07 years of experience in contract management during construction phase in Railbased Transit System project(s)* funded by Bilateral/Multilateral Development Banks/Agencies.

• Rail-based Transit System project(s) shall mean High-Speed Railways / Semi High-Speed Railways / Metro Railways projects as defined below:
• High-Speed Railways projects (ETCS based) with operational speed equal or greater than 250 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Semi High-Speed Railways including Urban/Suburban/ Intercity/ Regional Passenger Transit Systems, projects with operational speed equal to or greater than 160 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Metro Railways excluding LRT/Tram/Monorail Systems, projects shall only be considered for evaluation.
