Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the quality and lab team for the day‑to‑day operations and activities.
- Provide support for the NPD by establishing the required QC checks and testing of the products for Verification and Validation purposes.
- Vendor assessment & development: conduct inspections, testing, and trials/mock‑ups for new and existing products and provide QC feedback reports.
- Transfer to new manufacturing practices and processes: execute inspections, testing, and trials/mock‑ups and provide QC feedback reports with pros and cons.
- Ensure 100% incoming inspection for both raw materials and bought‑out items.
- Ensure effective in‑process inspection taking place daily and at regular intervals; immediately report non‑conformities to concerned stakeholders and resolve them concurrently.
- Ensure 100% PDI inspection is done for scheduled dispatches on a daily basis for both export and domestic.
- Carry out regular lab operations efficiently and timely, such as daily tile testing, mock‑ups, yearly testing of RMs, bought‑out items, etc.
- Ensure 100% MTC against every scheduled invoice and upload the same in the milestone on a daily basis.
- Conduct third‑party tests as per international standards.
- Raise NCRs for non‑conformance observed in receipt of goods or on the production line; inform suppliers, procurement, and operations teams.
- Resolve customer complaints following a root‑cause analysis approach and take corrective actions based on complaints received.
- Conduct monthly inter‑department audits for documentation either independently or with an internal auditor.
- Maintain and improve the Integrated Management System (ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015, ISO45001:2018, IGBC, SGBC) and other quality improvement tools such as 5S, Kanban, Kaizen & 7 QC tools; keep calibrations and load cells up to date.
- Maintain & update documents: all inspection reports, test reports, QAPs, SOPs, MOMs, MRM PPTs, compliance statements, audit reports, ISO reports, customer complaints (TADS), product TDS, product technical specs, material specifications cum TDC, with proper revisions.
- Document ISO9001, EMS 14001 and OHSAS 45001 requirements.
- Develop innovative and additional goals for QC‑lab enhancement; submit and implement initiatives.
- Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by management from time to time.

Qualification and Experience
- Minimum Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3+ years in quality control or quality assurance positions.
- Site quality inspection and vendor factory quality inspection experience is a plus.
- Industry certification is a plus.
- Willing to travel to Vapi, Daman & Mumbai locations.
Salary would be in line with the experience.
