Job summary

KSB is seeking a Sr. Executive for Receipt Inspection (Process Quality) at Khandala MIDC, Satara district, Maharashtra.

You will lead visual, dimensional, hydro test and NDT checks, collaborate with Client/TPI at supplier and KSB ends, and ensure documentation review is thorough. The role requires BE - Mechanical with 4–7 years of relevant experience, review of QCPs, NCRs, and active supplier audits to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• BE - Mechanical with 4 to 7 years of relevant experience.
• Perform seal plan and spare items inspection for visual, dimensional, hydro test, NDT and document review.
• Review QCP for seal plan and fabricated items as per project specifications.
• Execute NDT activities including DPI, RT, UT as required.
• Verify vendor manufacturing processes follow approved drawings and specifications.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, NCRs and corrective action requests.
• Conduct supplier audits and drive action for improvements.
• Communicate inspection findings and work with vendors to resolve quality issues.
• Identify recurring quality issues and provide feedback for process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Perform Seal Plan & Spare items inspections for visual, dimensional, hydro test, NDT and document review.
• Conduct dimensional inspection of fabricated parts using vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges and dial indicators.
• Review QCP for seal plan and fabricated items as per project specifications.
• Execute NDT (DPI, RT, UT) as required.
• Verify vendor processes against drawings and specifications.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and NCRs.
• Conduct supplier audits and implement corrective actions.
• Communicate findings with vendors to resolve quality issues.
• Identify recurring issues and support process improvements through notifications.

Formal education & Experience: BE - Mechanical with 4 to 7 years of relevant experience

Role & responsibilities:

• Perform Seal Plan & Spare items inspection for visual, dimensional, hydro test, NDT inspection, documents review etc. along with Client / TPI at Supplier and KSB end
• Conduct dimensional inspection of fabricated parts (Can, Motor stool, column pipes, base frame, etc.) using measuring instruments such as vernier caliper's, micrometer's, height gauges, and dial indicators etc.
• Review of QCP for Seal Plan and Fabricated items as per Projects Specifications.
• Execute NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) activities including DPI, RT, UT as per requirements.
• Verify that vendor manufacturing processes follow approved drawings and specifications.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and corrective action requests as required.
• Conduct Supplier Audit for vendor and take corrective actions from supplier for further improvements.
• Communicate inspection findings and work with vendors to resolve quality issues.
• Identify recurring issues in vendor quality performance and provide feedback for process improvements through notifications and improvement actions.

Defined competencies:

• Knowledge and well familiar with measuring instruments
• Knowledge of fabrication processes
• Awareness of NDT Testing's.
• Well understood machining & fabrication drawings along with code and relative standards.
