Job summary

Sidvin Core-Tech India Private Limited in Bangalore North, India is hiring for a Process Engineer to support offshore FPSO/platform and onshore oil & gas projects. You will contribute across Concept/FEED/Basic/Detailed Engineering, perform process simulations, and prepare instrument and process datasheets.

The role requires hands-on use of HYSYS or Unisim, heat & material balance proficiency, and knowledge of PFDs/P&IDs with vendor data.

Qualifications

• Experience in offshore FPSO/Platforms and onshore oil and gas industry.
• Prepare instrument datasheets and process datasheets.
• Update PFDs and P&IDs with vendor data; knowledge of SmartP&ID is a plus.
• Knowledge of line sizing and hydraulics for process and utility lines.
• Sizing of pressure safety valves and flare headers under guidance.
• Maintain awareness of industry codes and best practices for offshore facilities.
• Closeout of HAZOP recommendations with evidence.
• Upgrade technical knowledge via webinars or literature and share with the process team.
• Hands-on use of process simulators such as HYSYS or Unisim.

• Must possess work experience in offshore FPSO / Platforms and onshore oil and gas industry.
• Support Concept/FEED/Basic/Detailed Engineering design stages with respect to Process deliverables.
• Hands-on experience in using process simulators such as HYSYS or Unisim for process simulation.
• Must have knowledge of Heat & Material Balance.
• Basic understanding of Process and Utility Equipment sizing, such as separators, utility vessels, pumps.
• Preparation of Equipment datasheets, Package datasheets.
• Ability to understand and update PFDs and P&IDs based on vendor data; Knowledge of SmartP&ID tools will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of line sizing and hydraulics for process / utility lines.
• Must possess some experience of preparing instrument datasheets.
• Sizing of pressure safety valves and flare headers under guidance.
• Ability to update Process Philosophies and reports based on comments/feedback from client.
• To work on closing out HAZOP recommendations with the necessary evidence thereof.
• Upgrade technical knowledge by way of attending informative webinars or reading through and share it with the process team.
• Maintain awareness of industry developments, international codes and best practices related to onshore / offshore facilities.
