Job summary

Rotex in India is seeking a seasoned Production Planning professional to plan and allocate daily coil assemblies, monitor production targets and optimize cycle times. You will coordinate with stores, planning, and other departments to ensure material flow and on-time output.

The role emphasizes quality control, continuous improvement (5S/Kaizen) and quick corrective actions, with daily reporting of production metrics and safety-conscious practices on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning and coordinating with multiple departments.
• Ensure daily and monthly production targets are met and monitor cycle times.
• Implement 5S, Kaizen and other productivity improvements.
• Coordinate with Quality for root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain safe working conditions and accurate production reporting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and allocate daily coil Assy. as per production requirements.
• Achieve daily/monthly production targets.
• Monitor production output, cycle time, rejection & rework.
• Monitor production against target.
• Ensure smooth flow of material from stores to the assembly line.
• Coordinate with Production Planning, Stores, Purchase, and other departments to avoid material shortages.
• Take immediate corrective action for rejection, process deviation, or customer complaints.
• Work closely with the Quality Department for root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Ensure no defective or non-conforming material moves to the next process.
• Monitor operator performance, attendance and productivity.
• Identify opportunities to reduce cycle time, manpower, rejection, rework, and material wastage.
• Implement 5S, Kaizen and other productivity improvement activities.
• Maintenance for breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain daily production, rejection/rework reports.
• Maintain safe working conditions around electrical testing.
