Job summary

CNH Industrial is seeking a senior Engine shop lead to drive production on the engine line. This role requires overseeing output, process control, audits, and continuous improvement across shifts.

The ideal candidate will have 18–20 years in engine/manufacturing and a BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/Production/Automotive, with diesel engine experience preferred. The position emphasizes leadership, training of operators, ISO quality documentation, and successful launches of new models, within a

Qualifications

Minimum 18–20 years in manufacturing for engines and processes.
Diesel engine experience would be preferred.
BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/Production/Automotive.
Ability to lead shifts and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Handle production output for Engine line (Plan vs Actual).
Monitor & control process indices - ADPU, OKOL and CQA across all shifts.
Conduct process and product audits & validations as scheduled.
Monitor market/quality complaints; plan & implement countermeasures.
Oversee line rejections and implement controls.
Maintain shift culture and morale; develop the team.
Manage manpower deployment with on-the-job training using modern tools.
Document Quality Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
Lead new model launches and ensure smooth rollout.

Job Purpose

This position for the profile of Engine shop lead. It is basically a production engineer profile.

Key Responsibilities

To handle production output for Engine line. (Plan Vs Actual Achievement)
To monitor & control of Process indices - ADPU, OKOL and CQA of all shift operations.
To conduct Process and Product audit & validation as per schedule & mgmt. Requirements
To monitor & analyze market / quality complaints / benchmark audit, plan & implement countermeasure actions
To monitor line rejections and its control .
To maintain the work culture in his shift, maintaining and improving the moral of team.
Handling complete manpower deployment for the line with continues on job training for the operators with the help of modern tools & equipments.
Documentation of Quality Systems viz ISO 9001, ISO14001, etc.
Lead the New model launches and smooth implementation on production lines.

Experience Required

Minimum 18 to 20 years of experience in Manufacturing for Engine and Process. Disel Engine would be preferred.
