CNH Industrial Group India seeks a senior hydraulic engineer to lead component sizing and integration for construction equipment, aligning with project specs from Marketing and stakeholders.

The role demands 10+ years hydraulic experience, CREO modeling, 2D drafting, FEA interpretation, and PLM tools (Teamcenter/Enovia).

You will collaborate with global teams to deliver robust, efficient designs that enhance reliability and support CNH's sustainable growth across regions worldwide.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of industry experience.
• Knowledge of standards, vehicle-level sizing, and design of hydrostatic drives, valves, and plumbing.
• Able to interpret FEA results and use hydraulic simulation tools.
• CREO 3D modeling and 2D drafting skills.
• Understanding of GD&T, DFMEA, and basic visual mock-ups.
• Experience with Root Cause Analysis tools and problem solving.
• Experience with PLM tools (Teamcenter & Enovia).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Select and size hydraulic components for construction equipment.
• Perform calculations, create hydraulic schematics, conduct simulations.
• Integrate hydraulic parts in equipment layouts.
• Hydraulic plumbing design and routing on CAD; prepare 2D drawings.
• PIR resolution, DFMEA, test requests and design documentation.
• Resolve internal and external customer complaints; conduct field visits as needed.

Job Purpose

To meet requirements of hydraulic core competency as per specifications defined for projects/machines by Marketing and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Selection and sizing of Hydraulics components for construction equipment like Skid Steer Loader, Backhoe loader, Excavator, Compactor
• Perform calculations, make hydraulic schematics, conduct simulation
• Integrations of Hydraulic parts in the equipment layout
• Hydraulic related plumbing design and routing on CAD software and 2D drawing preparation
• PIR resolution, DFMEA , test requests and design documentation
• Resolve internal and external customer complaints, conduct field visits whenever necessary

Experience Required

• Minimum 10+ years of Industry experience.
• Knowledge of applicable standards, calculation at vehicle level for component sizing, selection, and design of hydrostatic drives, valves, pump, plumbing routing & brackets
• Ability to interpret results from FEA, Knowledge of using hydraulic simulation tools is preferred
• CREO 3D Modeling and 2D Drafting
• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing Principles, DFMEA & Visual Mock-up basic knowledge
• Understanding of tools used for Root Cause Analysis and Problem Solving
• Application knowledge of PLM Tools (e.g. Teamcenter & Enovia)
• Excellent Communication & Interpersonal skills
