Job summary

CNH Industrial is seeking an experienced Engine Field Specialist to support new technology introductions and ensure service ease from customer and dealer perspectives. The role focuses on engines across machine models, remanufacturing solutions, and ongoing field support to improve parts penetration and customer retention.

You will work with CNH teams and dealers, travel to customer sites, and provide technical guidance on engines and ATS.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in similar roles within construction equipment, commercial vehicles, or engine OEMs.
• Desirable skill – working knowledge of a specialized diagnostic tool for electronically controlled engines.
• Proficient with MS Office; familiarity with AI tools in aftermarket contexts.

Responsibilities

• Develop engine product specialists within CNH team and dealers through training programs.
• Travel extensively (8–10 days per month) to support field teams and training.
• Provide technical support on engines and ATS for all machines.
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve field engine failures.
• Participate in CPM team resolutions for product issues.
• Monitor ACPU and warranty costs; escalate issues to CPM as needed.
• Reduce warranty expenditure via policy control and telematics checks.
• Monitor new engine component performance and reliability in the field.
• Provide feedback on engine performance for new products.
• Do root cause analysis on complete engine failures with teardown.
• Assist parts stocking decisions for engine movement at warehouses and dealers.
• Analyze warranty replacements to identify failure patterns.
• Contribute to engine development programs with field feedback.
• Train and introduce special tools for repair, overhaul, and troubleshooting.
• Develop REMAN parts processes with standard supplier-based workflows.

Job Purpose

Support the new technology introduction in machines and ensure ease of Service from Customer and Dealer perspective. Engines on various Machine models are going through critical Technology changes due to change in Emission norms.Support the field teams on current Engine models as a central resource.Develop Remanufacturing (REMAN) solutions to provide a Value line product for Customers to improve penetration of the Parts and Customer retention.

Key Responsibilities

Primary and Secondary duties:

• Develop Engine product specialists within CNH team and Dealers through training programs and handholding in complaint resolution.
• Travel extensively (8-10 Days / Month) to support Field teams and Training.
• Responsible for providing technical support on Engines & ATS for all Machines.
• Working with cross functional teams for providing the solutions for field failures on Engines.
• Participate in Product management (CPM) team on resolution of product issues.
• Monitoring Average cost per unit (ACPU) & F/100 in warranty systems and "escalate the issues to CPM team for resolution."
• Reduce warranty-related expenditure through policy control and telematics-driven prevention.
• Monitoring of newly developed engine components for their performance & reliability in field
• Engine performance monitoring and feedback on new products.
• Root cause analysis on complete engine failures by performing teardown activities.
• Parts level analysis on movement of Engine parts and provide intelligent stocking requirement of parts at warehouse and dealers.
• Failure analysis of parts from warranty replacements.
• Participate in Engine development programs and provide field feedback proactively based on applications needs.
• Train and introduce special tools required on Engine for repair, overhaul, and troubleshooting.
• Develop unique processes and methods by updating on latest technology products to ensure proactive support and faster troubleshooting and repairs.
• Develop REMAN parts through identification of parts, suppliers and develop standard processes for REMAN.

Experience Required

Education/Qualifications: BE / Diploma in Automobile / Mechanical / Electrical

Preferred Qualifications

Essential experience and skills:

• 7 - 10 years of Experience in similar role from Construction equipment industry, Commercial Vehicles / Engine OEM's.
• Use of MS office
• Use of AI tools for Aftermarket
• Desirable skill – Working knowledge on a specialized diagnostic tool for electronically controlled engines
