Job summary

Gridbots Technologies seeks an experienced Embedded Firmware Engineer to design, develop, and optimize firmware for embedded systems. You will work with microcontrollers, RTOS, and device drivers to deliver reliable solutions.

Collaborating with hardware and software teams, you will implement low-power techniques, write tests, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines, ensuring robust, maintainable firmware across products.

Qualifications

• Experience designing firmware for embedded systems.
• Hands-on experience with microcontrollers and RTOS.
• Strong knowledge of device drivers and peripherals.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test firmware for embedded systems (8/16/32-bit MCUs, ARM).
• Write and optimize C/C++ code for constrained environments.
• Develop device drivers and integrate peripherals (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, Ethernet).
• Work with RTOS (FreeRTOS, ThreadX) and bare-metal systems.
• Debug firmware using JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers during board bring-up and validation.
• Implement low-power techniques for battery-operated devices.
• Ensure firmware reliability through unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Create technical documentation for design, code, and test procedures.
