Job description

We are looking for a Firmware Engineer with 23 years of hands-on experience to design, develop, and debug embedded software for microcontroller-based products.

You will work on real-time firmware, communication protocol integration, and Linux-based embedded systems, collaborating closely with hardware and systems engineers throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware in C (and C++ where applicable) for microcontroller based products.
• Implement and debug firmware running on RTOS environments, including task scheduling, interrupt handling, and resource management.
• Develop and maintain Linux system-level software for embedded platforms (drivers, services, system integration).
• Implement and troubleshoot communication protocols including UART, I2C, SPI, and Modbus.
• Support hardware bring-up, bench testing, and debugging using tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG/SWD debuggers.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with hardware, QA, and product teams to define requirements and resolve technical issues.
• Use Python for test automation, tooling, or scripting in support of firmware development.
• Communicate technical progress, risks, and blockers clearly to team members and project leads.

Required Skills & Experience Programming

• Strong proficiency in C programming for embedded systems.
• C++ programming experience is a nice-to-have.
• Python scripting experience is a nice-to-have. Embedded Systems
• Hands-on microcontroller programming experience (e.g., ARM Cortex-M or similar).
• Practical experience with RTOS concepts — tasks, queues, semaphores, and timing.

• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows.
