Acesoft Labs in Bengaluru is seeking an Email Security - Proofpoint specialist with 5–8 years of experience to manage Proofpoint modules, define inbound/outbound filtering policies and maintain security posture.

You will handle phishing analysis, upgrades, and admin tasks, coordinating with ITSM tools Remedy and ServiceNow, with readiness to work across rotational night shifts.

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

• 1. Expert in configuring and managing modules such as email protection, targeted attack protection & threat protection.
• 2. Define and maintain policies for inbound/outbound filtering, spam protection, URL defence and attachment protection.
• 3. Strong understanding of SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC and MX records.
• 4. Act as the point of contact for resolving Email Security operational tickets using Proofpoint.
• 5. Performing phishing Email Analysis Troubleshooting issues.
• 6. Responding to emails (end to end management) based on the alerts being generated by Proofpoint Email Monitoring system.
• 7. Must have experience as admin on Proofpoint application.
• 8. Hands on experience with email MTAs, spam filters and rule configuration.
• 9. Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and other similar documentation.
• 10. Performing upgrades to the Proofpoint email security solutions.
• 11. Familiar with Incident, Service Request, Change and Problem Management, SLA tracking, ensuring operational excellence.
• 12. Ensuring tickets are resolved as per the defined SLAs Collaborating with the vendor for timely resolution of platform related tickets.
• 13. Assists with implementation of countermeasures or mitigating control for email security issues.
• 14. Good knowledge on Secure Email Gateway and IESS solutions like Proofpoint, Abnormal AI and Checkpoint Harmony.
• 15. Good knowledge on ITSM tools like Remedy and ServiceNow.
• 16. Should be flexible to be work 24*7 as per the rotational roster.
