Job summary

Connexr is seeking a skilled Proofpoint & Abnormal AI Tool Administrator to join its Cloud Security & Identity team in Bengaluru. The role requires hands-on expertise with Proofpoint and Abnormal AI, email threat detection, incident response, and secure mail flow management.

The ideal candidate will administer, configure, and optimize Proofpoint and Abnormal AI platforms, manage Microsoft 365 Exchange Online, and integrate email security with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and ticketing systems.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in email security administration.
• Experience with Proofpoint and Abnormal AI platforms.
• Strong knowledge of email threat detection and secure mail flow.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and optimize Proofpoint and Abnormal AI platforms.
• Lead investigations into phishing, BEC, spoofing, and other email-based attacks.
• Manage Microsoft 365 Exchange Online, mail routing, and secure email architecture.
• Integrate email security solutions with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and ticketing platforms.
• Implement and tune security policies to enhance detection accuracy.
• Drive automation initiatives using PowerShell, Python, or REST APIs.
• Collaborate with SOC, IR, IAM, and Infrastructure teams to strengthen security posture.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Support compliance, audit, and risk assessment activities.
