Acesoft Labs in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced IT Security Engineer to design and implement security controls, monitor Proofpoint solutions, and drive incident response. The role requires strong knowledge of mail security, email authentication, and security protocols, with a focus on continuous improvement and collaboration across teams.

The ideal candidate brings 6-8 years in IT security, proficiency with MTAs, and a track record of creating clear SOPs.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Cybersecurity or related field.
• 6-8 years IT experience with at least 3 years focusing on Proofpoint Security solutions.
• Strong understanding of security protocols including safe listing, block listing, domain on/off boarding, URL/attachment defense and phishing analysis.
• Experience with MTAs and SPAM filters, and products similar to Postfix or Sendmail.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of SMTP, SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
• Ability to create clear SOP documentation.
• Effective communication and collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
• Certifications like CISSP or CISM desirable.
• Willing to work in rotational shifts and 24x7 support.

6-8 years of overall IT experience, with a minimum of 3 years focusing on Proofpoint Security solutions.

Good experience with MTAs, SPAM filters, and products similar to Postfix or Sendmail

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Working experience and understanding of the protocols like SMTP, SPF, DKIM and DMARC

Proven ability to create clear and concise documentation, including SOPs.

Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with vendors and internal teams.

Relevant certifications (e.g, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) are highly desirable.

Willing to work in rotational shifts and 24*7 support.
