Job summary

Neurealm Company is seeking a Lead SOC - Email Security expert in Chennai to manage Proofpoint Email Protection, TAP, and monitoring systems. The role requires hands-on policy management, threat analysis, and DLP implementation across enterprise mail infrastructure.

You will optimize configurations for SPF/DKIM/DMARC, supervise incident responses, and coordinate with vendors for platform enhancements. Relevant cloud security experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–9 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT infrastructure roles.
• Hands-on experience with Proofpoint solutions - Policy management, threat analysis, DLP
• Strong understanding of SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and email routing.
• Familiarity with Exchange Online and enterprise-scale mail infrastructures.
• Knowledge of cloud & SaaS email security (Office 365/AWS/Azure).

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Proofpoint modules including Email Protection, Threat Response, and TAP.
• Configure and optimize security policies to defend against malware, phishing, and social engineering.
• Analyze and resolve issues related to email delivery, spam, phishing, and malware.
• End-to-end management of emails and alerts generated by the Proofpoint Email Monitoring System.
• Define and maintain policies for inbound/outbound filtering, spam protection.
