Job summary

Bharat Forge in Pune is seeking a shift engineer for Electronics/Electrical maintenance in the dieshop. You will attend shift maintenance, perform MGR/ODR and PM, and drive TPM/5S initiatives while ensuring high uptime of dieshop machines.

The role requires a Diploma in Electronics/Electrical with 3–5 years of relevant experience and hands-on skills with CNC/HSM/EDM/Wire Cut systems, plus PLC literacy. You will work in a hands-on, independent capacity in a heavy engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronics/ Electrical required.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a Die Shop environment.
• Exposure to CNC machines and PLC systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend shift maintenance of Dieshop and related machine tools.
• Carry out MGR/ODR and PM activities.
• Implement TPM and 5S as per plan.
• Troubleshoot PLC, CNC, HSM, EDM, and wire-cut machines.
• Aim for high machine uptime and MTTR/MTBF targets.

Reporting to - Die shop Electrical Maintenance Head

Qualification - Diploma Electronics/ Electrical

Experience - 3-5 yrs.

Job Purpose & Role -

Attending Shift Maintenance activities includes break down,MGR,ODR & PM activity

Key Activities & Expectations -

• 1.To attend shift Maintenance of Dieshop, Cold forge machine shop, Precision Tool Room shop, 10 Ton weld shop includes utility equipments.
• 2.To carry out MGR, ODR
• 3.To carry out TPM related work as per plan
• 4.5S related work
• 5.PM of machines in First shift as & when required
• 6.Value addition in Energy conservation projects generation of ideas
• Complex Electrical Circuit, PLC faults trouble shooting
• 7.Basic knowledge of PLC programming
• 8.Trouble shooting of HSM,CNC,EDM,Wire Cut machines
• 9.Trouble shooting of Welding, Gauging & Wire Welding machines
• Should Work independently

Key Deliverables & Technical skills required -

• 1.100 % machine UP Time for production in shifts
• Active involvement to achieve department objectives such as 2.MTTR,MTBF,B/D Occurrences B/D Hours as per yearly target set
• Hands on experience on latest technology of HSM, Gantry machines, 3.EDM & Wire cut CNC, Die Inspection, welding, gauging machines.
• Sound knowledge of Siemens 840Dsl,Sinumerik one, Fanuc 31i, Oimd, Omb, Power Mate, Haas (Classic, Maincon, NGC) controllers, Heidenhain iTNC530, Mitsubishi & Windows base CNC
• 4.Conversant with LAN setup of the machines
• 5.Conversant & hands on of PLC s such as S7, Fanuc, Delta
• 6.Knowledge of DNC software, networking concepts
• 7.Knowledge of I 4.0 , machine health condition monitoring IOT sensors interfacing

Other Skills Required -

• MS Excel, Word, Power Point tools
• Working knowledge of SAP system
