Job summary

Arial Engineering Hvac (india) is seeking an experienced HVAC electrical engineer to design and review electrical systems for HVAC projects. You will coordinate between electrical and mechanical interfaces, prepare SLDs and BOQs, and support on-site installation and testing.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in HVAC/MEP, a relevant electrical degree, and hands-on AutoCAD proficiency. Knowledge of BMS protocols and good coordination skills are required, along with a valid two-wheeler license.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in HVAC or MEP projects with a strong electrical component.
• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
• Working knowledge of HVAC equipment - chillers, AHUs, VRF/VRV systems, pumps, cooling towers.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical drawing preparation, review and mark-up.
• Understanding of power distribution, LT switchgear, earthing systems, VFDs and motor controls.
• Knowledge of BMS and building automation - MODBUS, BACnet, LON protocols preferred.
• Good communication and coordination skills for multi-discipline project environments.
• Two-wheeler with valid driving licence

Responsibilities

• Design and review HVAC electrical systems: panels, wiring and BMS integration.
• Coordinate mechanical-electrical interfaces and equipment power and controls.
• Prepare electrical BOQs, SLDs, schedules for HVAC systems.
• Support site installation supervision for HVAC electrical works.
• Conduct electrical testing and commissioning of HVAC plant.
• Liaise with OEM teams for equipment-specific electrical requirements.
• Review MEP coordination drawings for electrical-HVAC interfaces.
• Prepare technical datasheets, O&M docs and test reports.
• Assist estimation team with electrical component costing for tenders

Role & responsibilities

• Design and review HVAC electrical systems - panels, wiring layouts, motor starters, VFDs, controls wiring and BMS integration
• Coordinate mechanical and electrical interfaces on HVAC projects - ensuring compatibility between equipment selection, power supply, controls and BMS
• Prepare electrical BOQs, single-line diagrams (SLDs), equipment schedules and cable schedules for HVAC systems
• Support site installation supervision for HVAC electrical works - panels, cable trays, cable terminations and control wiring verification
• Conduct electrical testing and commissioning of HVAC plant - motors, panels, BMS points verification and interlock testing
• Liaise with OEM technical teams for equipment-specific electrical requirements and commissioning support
• Review and mark up MEP coordination drawings for electrical-HVAC interfaces and clash avoidance
• Prepare technical data sheets, O&M documentation and test reports for HVAC electrical systems
• Support estimation team with accurate electrical component costing for HVAC project tenders
