Job summary

Lennox India Technology Centre (LITC) is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to design electrical systems for HVAC products, including control panels, wiring diagrams, and schematics. You will create detailed drawings using AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, and SolidWorks Electrical, and develop control strategies for AHU, chillers, and rooftop units.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of related experience, strong HVAC knowledge, and hands-on CAD tool proficiency.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Minimum 5 years related experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
• Experience in electrical design and schematic development.
• Hands-on experience with CAD tools (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, etc.).
• Good understanding of control systems, PLCs, VFDs, and sensors.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for HVAC products, including control panels, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Create detailed electrical drawings using AutoCAD / EPLAN / SolidWorks Electrical.
• Develop and validate control strategies for HVAC systems (AHU, Chillers, Rooftop Units, etc.).
• Select electrical components such as sensors, PLCs, relays, drives, and control devices.
• Ensure designs comply with international standards (UL, CE, IEC, NEC, etc.).
• Work closely with mechanical, software, and systems teams for integrated product development.
• Support prototype build, testing, and validation activities.
• Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and design improvements.
• Prepare technical documentation, BOMs, and design reports.

• Ensure designs comply with international standards (UL, CE, IEC, NEC, etc.)

• Exposure to Digital Twin / system modeling is an added advantage
