Job Title: Electro - Mechanical Design Engineer

The Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer with 2 - 8 years of Experience, you will collaborate closely with Team Leads or Project Managers to Design, Develop and Optimize Electro-Mechanical Systems and Components. This role demands significant experience in both electrical and mechanical engineering, with a strong emphasis on quality, innovation, and efficiency. The candidate should demonstrate a strong working knowledge of Electro-Mechanical Product Development like LV/MV Switchgears have hands‑on experience of 3D modelling from the preliminary concept sketch using Solidworks or Inventor and building.

You are expected to:

• Lead and participate in the design and development of complex Electro-Mechanical Systems and Components.
• Create and Review detailed Design drawings, Schematics, and specifications using CAD software.
• Prepare comprehensive Technical Documentation, including design reports, test plans, and user manuals.
• Ensure all designs adhere to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage Project Timelines and Deliverables in coordination with team leads or project managers.

You will be a great fit if you have:

• B.E. / B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with 2 - 8 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient in Sheet metal design and proven experience for 2+ years, working in Sheet metal.
• Experience in Designing Low, Medium Voltage and High Voltage Switchgears Switchboards.
• Experience in creating detailed design drawings, schematics and specifications.
• Experience in Designing LV/MV Distribution Panels, Hybrid Generators, Recloser Panels, Transformers, Mobile Substation Skids, metering Panels, Solar Power Distribution Panels.
• Experience in designing of enclosures, busbars, insulating supports etc.
• Well versed with Design & Heat Dissipation calculations, Structural and Thermal Analysis.
• Understanding Electrical SLDs & Three Line Diagram.
• Knowledge on Standards like UL Standards, IEEE.
• Experience in SolidWorks or Inventor (Any one is Mandatory).
