Job summary

BuildxPartners is seeking an experienced Electrical System Engineer to design, develop, test, and validate electrical and power electronic components for HVAC and Transport Refrigeration systems. The role emphasizes DFMEA, reliability engineering, and root cause analysis to ensure product quality and compliance.

You will create system architecture and hook-up diagrams, lead DFMEA activities, and coordinate regulatory testing including EMC/HALT while collaborating with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical product design and development.
• Strong knowledge of temperature sensors, actuators, solenoids, motors, drives, batteries, and contactors.
• Good understanding of analog circuits, protection circuits, and controller hardware.
• Experience with DFMEA, Six Sigma, reliability engineering, and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of project management, Gate Reviews, and IDR processes.
• Ability to develop system architecture and electrical hook-up diagrams.
• Familiarity with electrical safety standards for mobile AC/DC systems.
• Experience in testing, validation, and regulatory compliance.
